Ginesio Fest, grand finale at the Ascarano hill with the awarding of Federica Fracassi and Massimo Popolizio. “We are ready to do an encore”.
“A beautiful starting point”. This is the comment by director Giampiero Solari, artistic consultant of the first edition of “Ginesio Fest”, festival dedicated to the art of the actor, in the village that takes its name from the protector of actors: San Ginesio. Tuesday, patron saint's day, there was the grand finale of “three days” at the gardens of the Ascarano hill with the award ceremony for the actors Federica Fracassi and Massimo Popolizio. “It is worth continuing – adds Solari – and finding funds to broaden the field. When will the theater be renovated?, it will be a further cultural point. There is a nice climate here, characterized by multidisciplinarity, between music, choral and violin. During the award, the actors revealed themselves in a new guise, outside theatrical customs, with new questions. So there will certainly be an encore”. The objective of the organizers is in fact to transform the village of San Ginesio into “Village of actors”. The country these days has become a real and virtual stage, widespread, in which meetings took place, video clips, events, exhibitions, performances by guest artists. The satisfaction of the mayor Giuliano Ciabocco and the general director Isabella Parrucci was great. The mayor commented the other evening: “It will mark the history of San Ginesio. We are starting to tackle with a special theater vision, musica, despite, all the artistic disciplines that were part of the life of our patron saint. It is a way to rebuild our identity”. The idea was born at the end of 2019 from a meeting with Remo Girone, who sent a video message during the evening. He intervened, with the reading of some passages, Vinicio Marchioni (the legendary Cold of “Crime novel”), who periodically returns with his wife Milena Mancini (creeps the St Ginesium) and who made the documentary “The Vanya earthquake” on the earthquake sites. South stage, to reward Fracassi and Popolizio, the jury chaired by Roberta Carlotto, president of the Santacristina theater center. Of the first, also graduated in philosophy, was underlined “emotional and expressive charge”, as an actress “able to bare his soul through the filter of great discipline”. The artist, excited, was interviewed in front of the audience, for example, by the writer Oliviero Ponte di Pino and the theater critic Rodolfo Di Giammarco. She then also told herself with a text. People, to whom director Luca Ronconi has entrusted more than thirty dramaturgy, was awarded for the “culturally authoritative path as a true athlete of the heart of the third millennium”. He too revealed himself to the audience with a song that represents him, “Jonathan's journey”, an unpublished story by his friend Emanuele Trevi. A special evening, which ended in applause and between “Thank you”.
